iPhone apps and the Outdoor Industry

Quick rundown of iPhone apps offered by the Outdoor Industry:
Arcteryx app. Stellar!
Navigation: Menu as follows:
1. about arcteryx (i assume, its in korean- but disregard that- its the visuals)
2. catalog-- scroll through super sharp images
3. store locations?  (again, its in korean)
4. link to video- utube fed- fast and sharp
4. still photos: gorgeous, excellent consistency between online/print/mobile
6. map. (korea?) store locations?

insane.  no other outdoor brand has done this--
Columbia has a "knot" app

Clif bar has a snow report

Da Kine does basically app version of website

REI- snow report
REI- Bike Map

Ralph Lauren, lame catalog- shows both seasons- slow. Expected more out of a big brand

RETAILERS:
Mountain Plus offers gear on sale- click on item-see image, pricing, discount - move forward- on screen option to: click to order, call to order, email the deal, post to facebook

Erewhon Outdoors: needs help on interface, first option About us (basic web info-- not link to contact links, call ability etc- bad- you are on a phone connectivity should be easy)
click to contact- second button- not an excuse to not have it on about us page
Contact button:  links are not click thru to mapquest address, call (no need to have fax on app), dead links to website, twitter and facebook
Hours: should list address w/ mapquest link
map: finally!

Redundant in options.  Nothing about sales etc.  Mountain Plus wins. Where is backcountry.com?
